Hemangioma of the Placenta

Abstract
|
|
|
Chorioangioma is a relatively rare tumor of the placenta, although the incidence varies widely in different among the reporters. This tumor is benign and usually of small size, but frequently associated with hydramnios and premature delivery causing high percentage of perinatal death.
In this paper a case of haemangioma of placenta with hydroamnios and premature delivery in 30 years old woman is reported, and the literature on the chorioangioma is reviewed briefly.
